About the Role
You are an experienced and motivated nurse ready to take the next step in your clinical and leadership journey. You thrive in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team environment and are passionate about delivering high-quality care in paediatric and neonatal settings.
In this senior nursing role, you will support the coordination of staff, patient flow, and resources to ensure efficient and effective service delivery during afternoon and weekend shifts. This permanent part-time Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) role is combined with your existing Registered Nurse (RN) duties within either the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) or the General Paediatric Ward.
Our 16-bed General Paediatric Ward provides care for children up to 15 years of age, while our Level 2A SCBU supports neonates born from 28 weeks' gestation.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have the following skillset;- A senior nurse with strong clinical judgement and leadership capabilities
- High-level clinical skills in paediatric and/or neonatal nursing
- Proven ability to lead, support, and motivate multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates professionalism and calm under pressure
- Holds PDRP Level 3 or 4, reflecting a commitment to clinical excellence and professional growth
- Passionate about delivering high-quality, patient- and family-centred care
