Automotive Fitter / Assembler

Our client is New Zealand’s largest fleet fit-out manufacturer, providing turnkey vehicle solutions to large and small fleets, country-wide. We are partnering with them to find the perfect Automotive Fitter / Assembler Specialist to support their growing team.

This role is a permanent role and will be a big part of supporting the team to supply Kiwi tradies with mobile workspaces that can go the distance.

Shift: 4 day work week | 40 hours

Monday to Thursday: 6am - 4:30pm

Flexible Additional Hours | There is also the option to gain extra hours working Friday 6am - 12pm

You’ll need:
  • Experience in automotive fitting and assembly, including good understanding of dismantling vehicles
  • Comfortable using power tools and working in a workshop
  • A solid understanding of automotive electrical systems—even if it’s from working on personal projects.
  • High attention to the small details
  • Forklift OSH bonus but not required
  • Full Drivers licence and able to get to work every day on time
  • Can pass a pre-employment Drug test and Criminal Record Check
  • Must be already living in New Zealand and legal to work (we don’t provide support for work permits)
