• Variety across bulk earthworks, trenching & detailed drainage work
• Work with established civil contractors on major infrastructure projects

We are seeking experienced Senior Drainage Operators to join established civil contractors working across a range of infrastructure projects throughout Wellington. These roles offer excellent variety across bulk earthworks and detailed drainage work, supporting major civil and infrastructure developments.

• $35-$43/hr for senior experienced / final trim operators
• Variety across bulk earthworks and detailed drainage projects
• Opportunity to work with established civil contractors on infrastructure developments
• Strong pipeline of ongoing project work
• Experienced crews and well-supported site environments

• Operating machinery across drainage and civil infrastructure projects
• Completing trenching and detailed drainage works safely and efficiently
• Carrying out final trim and detailed excavation work (senior operators)
• Working accurately to levels, grades, and project requirements
• Supporting ground crews to maintain productive site operations
• Reading and interpreting plans to complete works to specification
• Maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and workmanship

• WTR endorsement is essential
• Proven experience operating on civil construction sites
• Strong experience in drainage and trenching work
• Ability to trim and work accurately to grade
• Ability to read plans and work independently where required
• Strong understanding of site safety and machine operating standards
• Reliable operators who work well within a crew environment
