We have partnered with Air New Zealand as one team to create an incomparable lounge experience that people value and remember! We are looking to build our team in our Air NZ Lounge at Wellington Airport and are now recruiting an exceptional Permanent Full Time Kitchen Assistant.Shifts are rostered across the 7 day week.
Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:
- Provide a warm, friendly, and welcoming style of service to all customers.
- Maintain clean and tidy dining and kitchen areas, including cleaning tables, floors, and equipment.
- Assist with preparing and presenting food, including portioning and plating.
- Wash dishes, including pots, pans, crockery, and kitchen equipment.
- Communicate effectively in the workplace and maintain personal presentation standards.
He korero mou / About you:
- Team player with the ability to work autonomously.
- Experience in a similar role with good communication skills.
- Flexible approach and attitude, being hard-working and reliable.
- Physically fit and able to handle the demands of the job.
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment and operating standard kitchen cleaning equipment is desirable.
