About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse and distribution operations in Dunedin. This is a full-time, permanent role, perfect for someone who takes pride in building strong teams, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

As Warehouse Manager, you'll oversee the smooth flow of goods from receipt to dispatch (both local and export), ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and work closely with production and customer service teams to support business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a small warehouse team to ensure efficient daily operations.
  • Coordinate inwards and outwards goods, inventory control, and dispatch activities.
  • Maintain compliance with MPI and other regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure safe and effective storage, handling, and distribution of products.
  • Monitor and optimise warehouse processes to achieve operational targets.
  • Work collaboratively with production, planning, and customer service teams.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and reporting.
  • Drive a culture of health and safety, continuous improvement, and team engagement.

You are a team leader who thrives in a busy environment and loves creating organised, efficient systems. You bring warehouse experience, strong people management skills, and a proactive, can-do attitude. Most importantly, you're committed to delivering excellent service to both internal and external customers.

  • Good knowledge of inventory management systems and practices.
  • Commitment to safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Forklift licence .
  • MPI experience (an advantage but not essential).
