The AIR helps give Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora and the wider health system a better understanding of population immunity against vaccine-preventable diseases. The primary purpose of this role is to manage the collection, maintenance and exchange of accurate and valid data in the AIR in accordance with the security, quality and timeliness specification in the AIR business rules.
The role will see you be responsible for the maintenance and quality of the AIR Database, including upgrades and error resolution. About the Team/Service/ LocationThe National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora, work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, protection, and population-level intervention.

You have an eye for detail and commitment to continuous quality improvement. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to write clearly and succinctly in a timely, and accurate manner. Able to work to tight deadlines and timeframes.

You are comfortable with outreach work in the community, at clinics and in an office environment as required.
