Description
Our steel client is on the hunt for a CNC & Laser operator to join their team! We need someone ambitious that is good with their hands as you’ll be operating and working with plate steel. Laser cutter experience and CNC experience is a MUST. Labour/lifting involved with this role as you will be lifting to 20kg.You must be reliable and happy to work 12 hour days.
This is a temporary position to be hired permanently after proving reliability! Long-term work guaranteed.
You Can Expect:
- $32p/hr + 8% holiday pay.
- Friday, Saturday & Sunday: 12-hour shifts 6:00 am - 6:00 pm, work 36 get paid 40.
- Great team and boss.
- Start ASAP.
- CNC & Laser Cutting Machine Operation within a high-volume, manufacturing environment.
- Manual handling, some heavy lifting – up to 20kg.
- Operating under tight timelines.
- Quality control checks.
- Strapping products and load onto wagon.
- MUST HAVE laser cutting experience and CNC machine experience.
- Knowledge and experience working with steel .
- Happy lifting.
- Knowledge of hand tools
- Reliable.
- Forklift license beneficial
