Mo te tunga | About the role

If your idea of a perfect work life balance is being part of a rural community with the backdrop of the spectacular West Coast, then this is the role for you!

Your typical day will be spent providing antenatal and postnatal care to the people of the West Coast region, your choice to offer homebirths or birthing in either of our birthing units at Te Nikau Maternity, Greymouth or Te Rua KawaKawa, Westport.

Outside of work, you will have access to some of the Aotearoa's best kept scenic secrets, of the West Coast especially popular for tramping, rafting, canoeing and many other outdoor pursuits.

Although you will be based in the community, you will be provided with access to education, training and support from the team at Te Nikau and collegially supported by your central and southern colleagues providing LMC care. A sustainability package is also available to our West Coast LMC's.

Mo matou - About us

Te Tai o Poutini West Coast we are proud of how we do things. We have a way of working that we consider unique. It's about trying new things, listening to ideas from wherever they come from and working together as one.

Please call Dawn Kremers, our Maternity Manager 03 7697803 to discuss further.
