Bar Manager
Wanaka
Waterbar Wanaka is a very busy bar and restaurant with late nights entertainment on many weekends.
The applicant will need to be experienced in a similar type of venue, managing a mix of day/night shifts. You will be reporting to the General Manager.
You will need to hold a current Duty Managers Certificate and had a minimum of 2 years working as a Duty Manager.
The applicant will need to be experienced with the following:
- Bar and restaurant service
- Gameing Mamagement - Pokies, must hold harm minimisation certificate
- Barista experience with consistent coffee standards and can also train others
- Experience with large functions and events
- Liaising with kitchen
- Handling customer feedback
- Training new staff
- Stock Management
- Strong Cocktail knowledge and practical bar tending skills.
- Cash reconciliation
- Ensuring compliance to the sale and supply of alcohol act and health and safety procedures.
- Opening and closing of the premises
