As an Assistant Winemaker, you will support the winemaking team in day-to-day operations, coordinate, monitor and deliver the weekly cellar work plan. You will work alongside the lab team to request testing of wine at all stages of the winemaking operation, interpret the results, and take action.You will be responsible for ensuring and maintaining the quality of winemaking procedures, preparing wine for dispatch, and liaising with customers.
This role offers the opportunity to participate in innovative winemaking projects, making it an exciting and rewarding position for those passionate about the art and science of winemaking.
About you:
- At least 3 years winemaking and cellar work experience
- Relevant tertiary winemaking qualification e.g Oenology
- Great communication skills
- Dedicated to grow professionally and acquire knowledge and new skills
- Strong attention to detail and quickly adapts new systems and processes.
- Proactive mindset towards opportunities to improve systems and processes to enhance efficiency.
