Panel Beater – Hazara Auto (Wellington)
Location: WellingtonPay Rate: $32 – $36 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (minimum 30 hrs, up to 40 hrs per week)About Us

The Role
We are looking for a skilled Panel Beater to join our Wellington team. The successful
applicant will ensure all vehicles are repaired to the highest standard and in line with
Hazara Auto’s specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out high-quality repairs including dismantling, reassembly, panel alignment, and
reshaping
Replace damaged vehicle sections and weld in replacements
Operate and maintain repair equipment (MIG/spot welding, hand tools, jigs, hoists, air
compressors, etc.)
Perform quality checks and rectify defects as required
Keep workshop management systems updated
Work with the Production Manager and technicians to resolve technical issues
Maintain a safe, tidy workspace and follow all health & safety procedures
Attend daily toolbox meetings
Requirements
Trade qualification or equivalent certification (preferred)
Minimum 3 years of motor vehicle repair experience
Strong knowledge of metals, vehicle parts, and mechanical processes
Skilled in panel repair, fitting, and welding
Reliable, detail-oriented, and a team player with a can-do attitude
