Port Marlborough is a values-driven port and marina business operating in Picton, Havelock and the wider Marlborough Sounds. The company's marinas business unit operates under the brand Marlborough Sounds Marinas. They have a great opportunity for a friendly, proactive, enthusiastic and super organised Marinas Administrator to join their dedicated team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about providing exceptional service and ensuring seamless marina operations across Picton, Waikawa and Havelock.

About the role

As Marinas Administrator, you'll be at the heart of marina operations, delivering front-line customer service, supporting colleagues, and ensuring that marina customers, tenants and visitors have an outstanding experience every time they visit.

You'll manage marina booking systems, customer agreements, and billing, ensuring information is accurate and up to date. You'll also support events, contribute to marketing initiatives, and play an active role in marina projects and continuous improvement efforts.

This is a full-time Monday to Friday position that is also required to assist on weekends and public holidays during the summer and at other times when there is peak demand for marina services.

About you

This role would suit someone who loves the challenge of juggling phone calls, coordinating and communicating information, and making sure that all the relevant details are accurate and up to date.

You will have a genuine customer focus with a practical and adaptable interpersonal style. With strong communication skills, and exceptional organisation and time management skills, you will have proven experience in a busy administration or coordinating role.

Excellent record keeping and attention detail is a must-have attribute for success. Your computer skills will be excellent and you'll be comfortable adapting with changing priorities across the day.
