- FINAL (tewhatuora.govt.nzKey Responsibilities:Provide high-quality clerical support to the interdisciplinary ward teamMaintain accurate and up-to-date patient files and documentationManage incoming and outgoing communication efficientlySchedule appointments as requestedDeliver professional and friendly reception services at ward levelRespond to requests for information within agreed timeframesProcess all admissions, discharges, and death documentation to required standardsEnter patient and staffing data into hospital systemsLiaise with IT Help Desk when necessary for technical issuesContribute toward quality and safety programmesPerform other duties as requested by the Charge Nurse ManagerAbout youEssential:Experience in word processing, reception and/or office administrationStrong written and verbal communication skillsSound knowledge of Windows-based systemsAbility to manage multiple tasks in a busy environmentOrganised, reliable, and team-focusedFriendly, approachable, and customer service orientedEnglish at a satisfactory School Certificate levelDesirable Skills and Experience:Previous experience in a health service or hospital settingKnowledge of SI PICS or similar patient administration systemsExperience in transcription work Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuringexcellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
