About the Role

We are looking for a New Zealand Registered Dietitian to work within our small, diverse department based at Wairau Hospital . The role willcater to clients requiring secondary care services for a wide variety of conditions and will work predominantly on the inpatient wards at Wairau Hospital and also provide some adult outpatient clinic support.

This is a permanent, part-time role working 40 hours per fortnight (0.5 FTE), Monday to Friday.

About the Team/Service/ Location

Our team of 13 Dietitians service all parts of the community across Nelson and Wairau Hospitals, and the Richmond and Marlborough Health Hubs. Our work is diverse and interesting, and we have a great team who work hard to make a difference.

About you

As a Dietitian, you will:

  • be a NZ Registered Dietitian with a current Annual Practising Certificate,
  • have at least two years of previous comprehensive hospital based clinical or generalist experience,
  • have experience in a variety of adult nutrition interventions and be comfortable providing ward based paediatric interventions and education,
  • Be flexible to work the hours as required,

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
