Administrative Assistant – Full Time
Location: Tauriko, TaurangaHours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
Pay Rate: $27–$30 per hour (based on experience)
About the Role
Are you an organised, detail-oriented professional who enjoys keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes? We’re looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our Tauranga team and play a key role in supporting daily operations, quality systems, and communications across our business.In this full-time position, you’ll provide essential administrative and clerical support to all departments, helping maintain efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with our ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
What You’ll Do
Provide comprehensive administrative support across all departments. Tasks may include data entry, filing, correspondence, and record management.Maintain documentation in line with the company’s management systems and processes.
Coordinate communication between internal teams, clients, and suppliers.
Prepare and distribute business documents, reports, quotes, and newsletters.
Assist with purchasing, inventory, stationery, and uniform orders.
Coordinate accommodation bookings to meet operational needsMaintain compliance with asbestos waste tracking, hours, and WorkSafe notifications.
Input jobs and sales leads into CRM Software (Fergus) and assist with quoting and labour allocations.
Greet clients, manage calls, and handle customer enquiries professionally.
Support the Sales and Management teams as required with reporting, marketing, and tender documentation.
Daily locking up of yard, which may include setting alarms, locking doors and gates and brining in flags.
About You1–3 years’ experience in an administrative or office support role.
Strong attention to detail and excellent time management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Forms).
Experience with Fergus or similar systems (advantageous).
Confident written and verbal communication skills.
