- Develop knowledge and understanding of the Leadership Team's work commitments and priorities to assist them in meeting their requirements. Manage private and confidential information, situations and issues in a manner that reflects the level and seniority of the environment.
- actively manage communication, diaries, travel, meetings, and logistics effectively and efficiently to allow the Leadership Team to undertake the requirements of their role.
Analyse information received to identify emerging issues, associated risks and potential solutions and ensure they are brought to the Leadership Team's attention.
Act as a connector across the School Property group, ensuring leaders are across key information.Monitor correspondence and refer queries to the most appropriate manager or staff member and identify and draw attention to important and urgent tasks.
Maintain the confidence and trust of the Leadership Team.
Salary range: $74,015
- $89,547 per annum + 3% kiwi saver.
The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.

Experience liaising with internal and external stakeholders across Minister's offices, government agencies and the public sector.
Experience booking travel, organising conferences/events and related requirements.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Knowledge of and experience of the Machinery of Government and/or public sector.
Understanding of the Treaty of Waitangi and its implications for the work of the Ministry.

The ability to be proactive and anticipate the needs of the Leadership Team.
