About the Role This role provides care to patients across a range ophthalmic conditions, procedures and treatments while supporting nurse-led clinics, diagnostic clinics, minor procedures and clinicians in delivering specialised ophthalmic treatments.About the Team/Service LocationOur Ophthalmology service is based in Wellington Hospital and is supported by a collaborative multidisciplinary team committed to delivering safe, high-quality patient care.
As an RN, you will work alongside experienced nursing staff (RN, EN) & non nursing ie Health Care Assistant, Eye Allied Health professionals (Optometrists and Orthoptists), and medical teams including Registrars, Fellows, and Ophthalmologists.As a regional service, you may also be required to work across other sites, including Kenepuru and Hutt Hospital.
