Tradestaff Global is seeking expressions of interest from experienced carpenters keen to join a project in the Republic of the Marshall Islands.

This is your chance to earn well, work on a large-scale new-build project, and gain rare international experience — all while living and working in a remote island environment.

WHAT’S ON OFFER
  • Flights covered from any major NZ airport
  • Meals, accommodation & PPE provided
  • NZD $66.11 per hour contracting rate – 45 hours per week across 5 working days
  • 8 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation (potential for longer swings)

WHAT’S THE JOB?

You’ll be working hands-on as part of a skilled carpentry team and local labour force on a large new-build project in the Marshall Islands. This role involves a wide range of carpentry and construction activities, including formwork, framing, and general building tasks in a physically active environment.

Experience working with concrete and masonry, including formwork systems, and reinforcing placement, will be highly advantageous.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • Trade Qualified.
  • Commercial Carpentry Experience.
  • Maintaining high safety and quality standards.
  • Concrete/masonry/brick & block work is highly advantageous.
  • You’ll be working in hot, humid conditions - resilience required!
WHAT’S THE CATCH?
  • Due to travel restrictions, only NZ or US Passport holders that are currently living and working in NZ should apply.
  • Must be willing to receive Flu, Tdap & MMR vaccinations.
  • Pre-employment drug & alcohol test required.
  • Full Class 1 NZ Driver Licence and clean criminal record essential.
  • Start dates = Early – Mid 2026 but depend on visa authorisation, medical clearance, security checks, notice period, and flight availability.
