As we look ahead to a new chapter, we’re ready to bring in a Salon Manager / Front of House Coordinator—someone confident, emotionally intelligent, and driven by structure, calm, and people. This is a hybrid leadership and coordination role for someone who thrives in organised, team-focused environments and knows how to hold space for both stylists and clients.
- About the Role
This is not your average front desk job. As the central point of coordination for our salon, you’ll be the calm and confident leader who ensures everything flows people, schedules, systems, and standards.
You'll work closely with the salon owner and (eventually) the wider leadership team to manage the salon's day-to-day operations and support a professional, high-performing team culture.
This role is ideal for someone who brings a service mindset, strong leadership instincts, and operational discipline.- Key Responsibilities
Manage all bookings, rebookings, and waitlists across multiple stylists
Greet clients with warmth and professionalism as the face of the salon
Oversee check-ins, check-outs, and retail sales
Maintain a smooth daily client flow to avoid appointment overlaps or gaps
Ensure the salon is clean, calm, and visually elevated throughout the day
Team Coordination & LeadershipSupport stylist schedules, rosters, and time-off requests
Monitor team performance (rebooking rates, retail sales, timing) and share insights
Be a trusted support for junior stylists, helping them grow in confidence and standards
Contribute to onboarding new team members and managing team communication
Lead short team check-ins and assist with performance systems and accountability
Salon Systems & Daily OperationsOversee towel and product restocking, stock control, and service supply
Manage end-of-day reporting and POS cash-up
Coordinate general salon needs—maintenance, suppliers, and task delegation
Liaise with the salon owner and leadership team to keep daily operations on track- What We’re Looking For
Proven leadership or front desk experience in salon, spa, retail, or hospitality
Strong communication and people management skills
High attention to detail, confident decision-making, and calm problem-solving
Warm, respectful, and fair with clients and team members alike
Emotionally intelligent, adaptable, and growth-minded
Confident using tech systems (booking software, reporting tools, email, etc.)
Salon experience is a plus, but not essential if you bring strong operations leadership- Pay & Benefits
Well-compensated leadership role – salary based on experience
Weekly bonuses of up to $100, tied to clearly defined KPIs
Annual earning potential: $63,000 – $78,000+
