- FINAL(tewhatuora.govt.nz) Key responsibilities include:Providing general administrative support including data entry, filing, phone and email management, photocopying, and document processing.Coordinating services identified in Support Plans, ensuring timeframes and documentation requirements are met.Identifying and escalating unmet needs or gaps in services, and liaising with clinicians to arrange alternatives.Managing referrals, waitlists, and routine service coordination tasks.Ensuring accurate and timely data entry and maintaining the integrity of the database.Delivering excellent customer service by handling enquiries in a friendly, solution-focused manner while maintaining confidentiality.Supporting team development by actively participating in discussions, training, and knowledge sharing.About youProven experience as an administrator in a complex organisation.Strong computer skills, including Word and Excel.A client-focused approach with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to prioritise tasks, work independently, and contribute effectively within a team.Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.A professional, respectful attitude with a commitment to team and self-care.Understanding (or willingness to develop understanding) of the Treaty of Waitangi, Māori health perspectives, and cultural responsiveness in Older Persons Health.Desirable skills:Previous experience in health or community health services.Knowledge of patient management systems.Working at HealthNew ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Orais dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
