About the role:
- Coordinate scoliosis outpatient clinics in Dunedin and Christchurch
- Support patients and whanau throughout the surgical journey
- Collaborate with spinal surgeons, theatre staff, and allied health professionals
- Provide pre-operative education and post-operative follow-up
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to research initiatives
- Ensure culturally safe and responsive care for all patients

About you:
- Registered health professional (e.g. Nurse, Physiotherapist, Allied Health) with current APC
- Experience in orthopaedics, spinal care, or surgical coordination preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
- Commitment to patient-centred and culturally responsive care
- Research experience or interest in clinical improvement is an advantage

Salary range
This role belongs to the NZNO Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($116,040 p.a) and Step 3 ($127,674 p.a pro-rata) of the Designated Senior Nurse scale Grade 2.
