We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Drainlayer to join our Civil Construction team located in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty. In this role, you will support the team in completing various stormwater, wastewater and water-related jobs in a profitable and efficient manner while complying with all appropriate legislation, company policies, and industry best practices *.*

**In a****ddition to the above you will:**
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and coordinate the team on site, managing plant resources and subcontract personnel.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and environmental processes are followed, holding pre-start meetings and reporting all incidents and near misses.
  • Apply drainage-related skills, including trenching, installing manholes, understanding construction specifications, and sharing skills with others.

**We're** **looking for someone with:**
  • Minimum current class 2 driver's licence with WTR endorsement, and a Qualified/Trade/Certified Drainlayer.
  • Proven drain laying experience and understanding of new water connection work.
  • Strong leadership and team coordination abilities, high initiative, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently
