This busy pharmacy is located inside the Papakura Marae Health Centre. This is a great opportunity to be part of a diverse, supportive and (at times) challenging work environment. Our friendly dispensary team focuses on providing great customer service.

1. To assist the pharmacist with the operation of the dispensary, including dispensing (includes receive, & validate prescriptions from patients and accurately dispense prescriptions), administrative duties and managing stock.
2. Ensure the smooth running of the dispensary – including (and not limited to): ordering stock, assisting with dispensing, handing-out prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
3. Maintaining our blister pack patients – including (and not limited to): processing, following-up with patients and prescribers, ordering specific medicines (if needed), making blister packs, ensuring that cycles are up to date. Time-management skills are essential.
4. Provide quality service and advice to our patients and clients
5. Have current knowledge of medicines and OTC products.
6. Ensure that prescription and pharmacy records are established, maintained, and kept secure.
7. Supporting our pharmacists and the various services we provide.
8. Local delivery of medicines if needed.

You must be: A qualified (Level-4 or Level-5) Pharmacy Technician (i.e., hold a NZ Pharmacy Technician qualification).
