About the role:
Papakura Birthing Unit is looking for professional and registered midwives to join their dynamic team! Working in a picturesque rural setting, providing antenatal and postnatal care for the women of South Auckland. We do approximately 200 births a year and another 600 return to the postnatal unit for inpatient care after birth.We are a supportive, dynamic team with great clients to look after! We are BFHI accredited and pride ourselves in supporting women who choose to breastfeed with a high exclusive breastfeeding rate on discharge.
You will have demonstrated outstanding communication skills and great initiative. We offer an excellent working environment with full orientation and extra educational support.

Essential:
- New Zealand Registered Midwife
- Current Practicing Certificate
- 3+ years clinical experience in NZ
Desired:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification
- Experience in working in a multi-disciplinary team
