About the role | Mō te tūngaAs an Employment Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting clients with health conditions, illness, or disabilities to access employment, training, and development opportunities, enabling them to become independent.You will work closely with Case Managers to understand client skills, abilities and how their capabilities can be enhanced by MSD, other agencies, and employers.You assist clients with CV development and interview preparation, undertaking pre-employment checks, working closely with employers, and community providers to match clients to suitable roles, promote their strengths, and support them into sustainable employment.This is a varied and rewarding role where you will use your relationship-building, problem-solving, and marketing skills to help clients overcome barriers and achieve independence.

You will also contribute to regional employment strategies and initiatives and provide post-placement support to ensure long-term success for both clients and employers.Please note: This role requires applicants to have a clean full New Zealand Driver Licence.
