Delivery Driver - Class 2

Central Milk Distribution supplies chilled dairy and meat products together with beverages to a large customer base across the Manawatu, Tararua, Horowhenua and Kapiti regions. Our customers include service stations, restaurants, cafes, schools, retirement homes and much more.
We are currently looking for a reliable sales/delivery driver with exceptional customer service skills. Other skills needed include:- Be Customer focused
- Be physically fit as heavy lifting is required to perform the daily duties
- Must be able to work unsupervised
- Be confident with technology as all orders are processed via handheld computer.
- Be Honest and reliable and able to handle early morning starts (4.00am to 5.00am). You do finish early though
- Positive and practical thinking and ability to use your initiative
- High level of energy and enthusiasm
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Be able to pass a drug and alcohol test. Our policy allows for random testing.
- Be Safety orientated
- A proven team player, as well as ability to work alone
- Be able to work occassional Saturday mornings if required
- Be able to pass a criminal background check
- Have a clean cut and tidy appearance
- Class 2 license is required.
The Position is full time approximately 40 - 45 hours a week, Monday to Friday, some work on a Saturday may be required from time to time. Remuneration is at a very competitive rate, depending on experience.
