About the RoleAre you ready to take your technical skills into a healthcare environment where your work directly supports patient care? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented PACS Administrator to join our team at Waikato Hospital.As a PACS Administrator, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management and support of our Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and Radiology Information System (RIS).
These systems are critical to the delivery of diagnostic imaging services across the Waikato District and the wider Te Manawa Taki region.Key responsibilitiesEnsuring the reliable delivery of digital images and reports to clinical teamsTroubleshooting and resolving system issuesSupporting system upgrades and improvements in collaboration with vendors and internal teamsMaintaining data accuracy and integrityParticipating in a 24/7 on-call support rosterSupport internal and external usersThis is a key position that helps ensure clinicians have timely access to the imaging information they need to provide excellent patient care.The salary for this position will be based on experience and in line with the Te Whatu Ora PSA- Administration and Clerical Collective agreement.

About YouWe’re looking for someone who is technically skilled, adaptable, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
