Head Chef / Kitchen Manager
Auckland
Little Ed isn’t your average neighbourhood spot. We’re all about good food, good drinks, good people and good times, and we’re looking for a Head Chef / Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen team and keep the vibes strong.
This is a hands on role where you’ll bring creativity to our shared plate style menu, while also keeping the back of house running smoothly. From designing seasonal dishes to managing stock, rosters and food costs, you’ll be across it all.
What you’ll do:
- Lead, train and inspire a small but talented kitchen team
- Plan and execute a creative, seasonal menu with consistency and flair
- Manage food costs, ordering, stock control and kitchen systems
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and service
- Work closely with the wider team to deliver a great all round experience for our guests
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- A passion for fresh, creative food
- Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
- A positive, can do attitude
What we offer:
- A supportive, upbeat work environment (we don’t take ourselves too seriously, but we do things properly)
- Opportunity to bring your ideas to life on the menu
- Competitive pay, staff perks and room to grow with us
If you’re ready to put your stamp on the kitchen and be part of a place where people come for more than just a meal, we’d love to hear from you.
Apply with your CV and a short cover letter.
