Project Engineer - Auckland

We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to assist in the delivery of maintenance projects to work on several exciting projects across Auckland and Northland. This role reports to the project manager and will work closely with operational employees.

You will be responsible for assisting the PM with the delivery, maintenance, and improvement works for industrial projects across Auckland and Northland.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing site personnel
• Achieving commercial project deliverables on time and within budget
• Relationship Management
• Cost Estimation
• Programming
• Cost tracking and Forecasting
• Purchasing
• Contract Management
• Environmental Management
• Quality Assurance; and
• Project Administration
• Ensuring full compliance with HSE requirements

Requirements:

• Applicants must currently be living and eligible to work in NZ
• Candidates with existing eligibility to work in New Zealand will be reviewed first
• A bachelors degree in civil or mechanical engineering
• 5-10 years of project experience, preferably in a similar industry
• Experience managing work at height and within confined spaces.
• Contract management and administration experience
• Cost estimating experience in the maintenance or construction sectors
• Scheduling with MS Project or P6 preferred
• Ability to travel for work as required by business demands
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as required by business demands
