Business Development Manager

Our national company is a leading service provider in the cleaning industry, delivering high-quality services to high-profile retail, corporate, and commercial clients throughout New Zealand.
We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager based in the Wellington region. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and play a key role in expanding our client base within this area.
This role offers:- A generous base salary
- Uncapped commission
- Company car, laptop and phone
Previous experience in sales is essential, ideally within the cleaning industry, facilities maintenance, or property management sectors.
Key responsibilities:- Cold call and prospect for new business across all vertical markets within the Wellington region
- Maintain the CRM database with all activities and sales forecasts; work closely with management to meet reporting, targets, and KPIs
- Prepare and submit tenders in line with company direction, policies, and procedures
- Show initiative and drive in procuring new clients, particularly targeting high-value markets, and align efforts with company strategies and objectives
- Be tenacious, proactive, and willing to learn in the pursuit of new business
- Contribute to broadening and deepening the company's client base and contracted work
The salary package will be commensurate with experience relevant to this role.
