Currently we are looking to recruit experienced Health Care Assistant.
Employment Details:- Type: Full-time (minimum 32 hours per week)
- Contract: Permanent
- Salary: $27 - $31 per hour based on your experience and or qualifications
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Provide daily personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting,
- Assist residents with safe mobility, transfers, and use of mobility aids.
- Support residents with eating, drinking, and medication reminders under supervision.
- Make beds, tidy resident rooms, and maintain a clean, safe environment in accordance
- Observe, document, and promptly report changes in resident health or behaviour to the
- Offer companionship, encouragement, and emotional support to promote residents’ dignity
- Follow individual care plans, rest-home policies, and Health & Safety requirements at all
times.
Qualifications and Experience:To be a successful candidate you will:
- Relevant NZ Certificate (Level 4) or equivalent qualification; OR at least three years of
- Demonstrated knowledge of personal care procedures, manual handling, and infection
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work flexible hours and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Police vetting clearance required.

- $27 - $31 per hour based on your experience and or qualifications
