As part of the team, the Group Reservations Manager plays an important role in managing the hotel's group bookings, ensuring smooth coordination across accommodation, restaurant, and activity inventory to maximize occupancy and revenue. You will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, ensuring they have a seamless and memorable experience.This is a high-impact position where your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams will be key.
We are looking for someone with at least two years' experience in hotel reservations, excellent communication skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for the industry. The ideal candidate may have had experience with group bookings, events and be capable of stepping in to cover for the Reservations Manager when needed, ensuring smooth operations in this diverse and exciting role.

What you will be doing:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients group inquiries, ensuring professional and timely communication. Offering knowledge and insight of the hotel's products and services as well as a general knowledge of the area and relevant tourist information
- Prepare and issue Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), ensuring clarity and accuracy
- Manage group inventory, oversee event coordination, and support the team with general reservations inquiries via phone and email
- Provide insights to management on trends within the groups and series business
- Utilising the hotel's reservation systems daily with a consistently high level of accuracy
- Handling sensitive information such as confidential agent rates, contracts and credit cards details with care
- Support the Reservations Manager and provide coverage for annual and sick leave
- Oversee and manage the groups inbox and team workload, ensuring tasks are executed efficiently
- Train and supervise new Group Reservations Agents, ensuring high standards of customer service and operational efficiency
What you will bring to the role:
- Previous experience of two years or more working in a fast-paced reservations or call-centre environment.
- Confidence in using reservation systems/technology, ideally Protel.
- Attention to detail and excellent time management.
- A personable, confident, and collaborative approach
- Previous experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor is desired.
- The ability to work with a small, motivated team, as well as independently.
- An ability to quickly learn new products, services, and systems.
- Fluent in English is essential and dual language would be desirable
