About The RoleYour role in the Wellington Central Community Mental HealthTeam will involve contributing your discipline specific knowledge to the MDTand within assessment and treatment plans.
We are looking for an occupationaltherapist that can develop and facilitate group work, provide specific key workthat contributes to tangata whaiora recovery and wellness.You will be requiredto work autonomously and as part of the team.

We have a good working relationship with otherservices in the local community, and we routinely work closely with NGOs andprimary care.About YouYou will be working with a dynamic team who strive toprovide high quality care.We are looking to recruit anOccupational Therapist with:Current Practicing Certificate.Ability to work in a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) and demonstrate values consistent with those of the MHAIDS Services.Application of best practice models of care.Committed to working within the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Capacity to practice in a manner that engages tangata whaiora/consumers/whānau from a range of different cultural backgrounds.Ability to work effectively with partner agencies in the community to meet a diverse range of needs.Demonstrates competence in communicating with a wide range of people, and leads meetings and documents outcomes and plans.A team player with a sense of humour.positioned tounderstand and service our community.
