Mechanic - Te Awamutu
Let me tell you about the role:
Our business is growing, so we are looking for a Mechanic to join our growing team based in Tirau to look after our fleet of Heavy Vehicles and Machinery across our fleet of Animal Bedding units.
This role is required to oversee and carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and servicing of our fleet based in our onsite workshop, where some field work may also be required.- Monday to Friday 7am – 6pm, with rostered call outs.
- Phone and Service Vehicle provided.
To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified mechanic with heavy transport experience, as well as knowledge and experience with machinery such as Tractors, Loaders and Forklifts.
You will have:- Heavy Diesel trade qualification
- Proven hands-on service, repairs, and maintenance
- Take pride in the quality of your work
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated, and possess a positive attitude
- Promote a proactive H&S culture within the workshop team
- Minimum of Class 4 License
