Mechanic/Automotive Technician - Christchurch
About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team in Christchurch. This full-time role is responsible for the diagnosis, repair and maintenance of a range of vehicles, ensuring our customers receive the highest standard of service and support.
What you'll be doing:
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic faults on a variety of vehicle makes and modelsPerform WOF inspections plus maintenance and servicing
Test and inspect components to identify issues and determine appropriate repair actions
Utilise diagnostic equipment and tools to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve problems
Ensure a safe and organised work environment by following all safety protocols
What we're looking for:
Relevant trade qualification in Automotive Mechanics or equivalent experience.WOF authority (AVI)
Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and the ability to diagnose and repair faults
Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment and tools
Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills
A commitment to providing high-quality customer service
A keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
A valid driver's license and your own tools
