Senior Manager, Risk and Compliance Te tūranga

  • The role As the Senior Manager, Risk and Compliance you will lead and direct the Risk and Compliance Team, and ensure a risk and compliance lens is applied to all activities, strategic development and project management at RBNZ.

You will be responsible for monitoring and reporting to both management and the RBNZ Board.

You willIdentify and rectify weaknesses that could damage RBNZ from a financial, operational, legal or reputational perspective.
Design, implement and mature the RBNZ's enterprise risk management frameworks.
Identify and manage compliance obligations.
Foster and embed a risk-aware culture.
Lead the delivery of group and cross functional strategies, activities, initiatives and programmes/projects along with participation.
Plan, develop and deliver on large multi-year strategic work programmes across the organisation.This is a key leadership position which is instrumental in overseeing the risk and compliance of key functions within Reserve Bank of New Zealand.Ō pūkenga
  • About you You will be both adaptable and strategic in your thinking and be able to lead both functionally and strategically to ensure shared success.

In addition to this you will:Have demonstrable experience working in a risk management role, including technical expertise in the development and implementation of compliance frameworks and procedures.

Have demonstrable people leadership experience and the ability to cultivate a high performing team.
Possess relationship management experience to build, develop and maintain relationships with both your team and stakeholders.
Have strong communication skills, with a collaborative style and an ability to be objective with setting workplans and priorities.Ko wai matou
