Mauri Kaha!Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About us:The Auckland Regional Forensic Psychiatry Service, or the Mason Clinic as it is often known, is the largest Forensic Mental Health and ID Service in New Zealand.

We serve all courts in the northern region including five prisons. The clinical pathways in the ARFPS are formed by the integration of six subservice streams.Justice and Short Term Care stream (JSTC) comprising an acute and subacute male pathway in Kauri and Totara and a female service of four beds in E Tū Tanekaha.
This stream is operationally and functionally linked to the Forensic Prison Team and the Forensic Court Liaison teams. The `Justice arm of the stream focuses on deliverables in prison and courts.Tari Kaupapa Māori Extended Forensic Care and Rehabilitation (EFCR) stream comprising Te Aka and Tane Whakapiripiri.

This stream also hosts Pacifica (but not exclusively).A mixed gender EFCR stream within E Tū Tanekaha (known as EFCR Stream 1)A male only EFCR stream comprising Rata and Kahikatea (known as EFCR Stream 2).A secure inpatient Intellectual Disability service with a community based consult liaison service known as IDOLS (Intellectually Disabled Offenders Liaison Service) providing after-care or parallel community based care.The Forensic Community Reintegration Service comprising the Rimu open Hostel and the Forensic Community Team.

Respite beds for emergency readmission are housed in Totara.These clinical pathways support recovery, enable tāngata whai i te ora and whānau involvement and are anchored in the recognition of principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi (kawanatanga, ritenga, oritenga, and mana Motuhake).About the RoleAre you an experienced nurse leader ready to take on a pivotal role in hospital operations after hours?
