Dairy Farm Assistant - Endurance Dairy
The Opportunity**
We’re looking for a Dairy Farm Assistant to join the high-performing team at Endurance Dairy. In this role, you’ll assist with a range of farm tasks — from milking, calving, and feeding stock, to effluent management, spraying, and fencing.
You’ll play an important part in the day-to-day operations and work closely with your team to help meet production and animal welfare goals.
You’ll receive full training and support, and we’ll encourage you to take the initiative, develop your skills, and support newer team members along the way. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a great work ethic and a passion for farming.

**The Farm**
Endurance Dairy, nestled in the central plateau, is part of Pamu’s Taupo Pastoral Complex. The farm operates a twice-daily milking schedule, with 830 cows milked through a 54-bail rotary shed.
The dedicated farm team, consisting of four members including the Farm Manager, leads by example. They work diligently, support one another, and prioritise the safety of both our animals and staff.
The area offers excellent schooling options, a friendly and supportive local community, a school bus service, and easy access to a wide range of recreational activities.
**About You**- You’ll bring a willingness to learn, get stuck in, and contribute to the team’s success. Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Experience in a similar dairy farming role (or a strong interest in developing one)
- Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A proactive attitude with initiative and commitment to animal welfare and health & safety
- The ability to coach and support junior or new staff where required
- A current NZ restricted or full driver’s licence
