Carpenter

We are looking for a full-time Carpenter in the construction field to perform routine tasks to the company quality standards.

Ideal candidates must have the followings:

2 years relevant experience or a level 4 or above relevant qualification

Must be able to work on weekends and work overtime.

Must be flexible to work early-morning and late-night shifts.

Ability to work under pressure on a busy construction site.

Strong commitment to safe work practices.

Be hard-working, reliable, and motivated.

Can work well and efficiently both unsupervised and within a team.

Physically fit the job and can work outdoors in the hot and cold season.

Job Responsibilities:

Reporting to the site manager or other senior managers as required.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications.

Take measurements and calculate the sizes and amounts of materials needed for the project.

Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements.

Build window frames, doors, staircases, brattices, frame buildings, and other structures by using raw materials or pre-constructed items.

Install hardwood doors, siding, cabinets, drywall, and insulation.

Inspect products and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed.

Comply with all company and governmental safety guidelines.

Ensuring that requirements, as specified by the client and senior management, are met.

Any other tasks that are reasonably requested by the employer from time to time.
