Job Duties
We are looking for 3 permanent full time Warehouse operations specialists for our growing team. The role is for a minimum of 30 hours and a maximum of 40 hours.
Overall Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations:
Follow Tri-Star’s packing, picking, and dispatch procedures and standards.Accurately process freight and handle inventory with care and attention to detail.
Perform general warehouse duties including stock replenishment, order assembly, and staging for dispatch.
Operate forklifts (reach and man-up) and other MHE to load, unload, and move goods safely and efficiently.
Conduct daily forklift safety checks and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Assist with inbound and outbound goods, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
Maintain stock integrity through correct product handling and accurate data entry in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Support inventory counts, cycle checks, and reconciliation activities.
Strive to minimize product damage and promptly report any incidents that occur.
Ensure all orders are placed on the correct pallet type and accurately labelled.
Pick and confirm orders using the RF scanner.
Verify that no stock is dispatched in a damaged or dirty condition.
Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.
Ensure all special customer requirements are met at all times.
Assist with container devanning, as well as loading and unloading of goods.
Must be able to safely lift loads up to 25 kg
Must be able to shrink wrap pallets in a safe and secure manner
Fit and healthy to perform all warehouse functions.
Health & Safety:
Adhere to all Health and Safety, OSHA, and Tri-Star compliance standards.Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourage team compliance.
Ensure work areas are clean, tidy, and free of hazards at all times.
Report near misses, incidents, or unsafe conditions immediately.
Quality & Efficiency:
Inspect, weigh, and package products accurately according to order and client specifications.Verify compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards.
Work flexibly across different warehouse stations as required by production flow.
Ensure product orders are packed, labeled, and moved with care and accuracy.
Teamwork & Communication:
Collaborate effectively with Warehouse and Customer Service teams to achieve daily operational goals.Communicate any delays, issues, or discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager promptly.
Performance Measures
Key performance indicators will be developed for this role and reviewed periodically.
Performance will be measured on:
Accuracy and efficiency of warehouse operations, including picks and dispatch.Safe operation of forklifts and adherence to safety protocols
Compliance with Tri-Star standards and client requirements
Timeliness and reliability in completing assigned tasks
Teamwork and communication
