Travel General Manager - Open to relocation

Are you an experienced travel industry professional ready to take on a leadership role and make a lasting impact on a growing travel business? We are seeking a dynamic General Manager to join a highly regarded company and drive the strategy and growth of its travel services division.
This role is based in Australia, and we are open to candidates who are willing to relocate from New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of the business strategy, ensuring alignment across departments.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient processes and consistent service delivery.
- Collaborate with department heads to drive growth and innovation.
- Use financial data to guide decision-making and improve business outcomes.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate teams to achieve high performance and uphold company values.
- Foster a customer-centric culture and enhance service quality across all touchpoints.
- Identify inefficiencies and lead process improvements to enhance productivity.
Ideal Background & Skills:
- Experience in a General Manager, Operations Manager, or Business Manager role within the travel or tourism sector.
- Proven track record of growing revenue and managing budgets.
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on involvement in daily operations.
- Flexibility to travel as required.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary package AUD $130,000 - $140,000 + super + Relocation Bonus and personal travel benefits.
