Your Role:
As a Grader Operator, you will take charge of all aspects of roading, from subgrade preparation and kerb setup to final trim for asphalt or chipseal. Your expertise will play a vital role in delivering high-quality projects that enhance our community’s infrastructure.
What We are Looking For:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Current NZ Driver’s License: Class 2 (class 4 preferred) with WTR endorsements.Experience: 3+ years' operating a range of machines in civil construction, including excavators, rollers, graders, and small to medium trucks.
Foreman Experience: Proven track record managing roading projects, including preparation for concreting, footpaths, and kerbing.
Final Trim Expertise: Ability to achieve a finish to sealing standards, with GPS grading experience.
Machinery Care: A good attitude towards the care and maintenance of machinery.
Physical Fitness: Capable of meeting the demands of the role.
Team Player: Ability to work unsupervised while being a proactive team member.
Health and Safety Commitment: Demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety practices.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities and a positive, can-do attitude.
