Aotea Electric Ashburton Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our growing team.We are a customer-focused company working with a diverse range of long-standing clients across the Ashburton region.

About the Role
As a registered and experienced Electrician, you will play an important role within our team and be responsible for:- Leading projects on site and delivering high-quality workmanship
- Liaising with the Project Manager and office administration team
- Managing and mentoring apprentices
- Providing professional and courteous service to clients and team members
- Ordering and organising materials for jobs
- Completing certification and project documentation accurately
What We’re Looking For
The successful applicant will have:- Current New Zealand Electrical Registration and Practising Licence
- Full New Zealand driver licence
- Their own tools
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and initiative
- The ability to work unsupervised and run jobs efficiently
- A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- A professional presentation and positive attitude
- Leadership qualities and the ability to mentor apprentices
- Supportive and collaborative team environment
