About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on team member to join our warehouse team at Vulcan. This role is primarily focused on general warehouse duties (around 70%), with some responsibility for operating a steel saw (around 30%).
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately
- Receive inwards goods and maintain accurate inventory records
- Operate programmable saws (mild steel) as needed – full training provided
- Help keep the warehouse clean, safe, and well-organised
- Support daily warehouse operations and work closely with the team
- Experience in warehousing, stock picking, and general warehouse duties
- Saw operation experience is a plus, but not essential – we’ll train you
- Forklift licence and familiarity with gantry cranes are beneficial
- Physically fit and comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on role
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to safety
- Full Class 1 driver’s licence (minimum)
- Basic computer skills to use stock and job tracking systems
