Retail Assistant

You must be available full time, willing to work the morning, late evening and weekend shifts as the store is open 7 days.

Hourly rate: $24-30

Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Assisting the customers with the product queries, advising them about the different range of available vape products and prices
• Serving the customers at the checkout register to process the sale transactions, handling the cash register
• Maintain a deep understanding of the current promotions and discounts
• Preparing the list of the products to be ordered
• Be part of the inventory stock take on regular basis
• Receiving the inward goods, checking and tally the products against the purchase orders, note the variance and inform to the manager
• Stoking and filling the shelves on timely basis
• Keeping the store clean and tidy at all times
• Adherence to the regulations and age verification processes for selling vape products
• Meeting the occupational health and safety standards

A successful candidate must have:

• At least 2 years of work experience in the relevant role/field
• Level 4 qualification or higher can substitute the work experience
• Must be of above 18 years of age
• Positive and right attitude
• Time management skills and ability to work under pressure
• Physically fit and hardworking (some heavy lifting is required)
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• No criminal record
