Due to the huge amount of growth, Quantum Staffing Solutions is searching for an experienced and driven senior recruitment leader to take the reins of our highly successful Dunedin Office.

Quantum Staffing Solutions is 100% New Zealand owned, industry-leading recruitment agency, delivering end-to-end staffing solutions across a wide range of roles, industries, and businesses. After only 8 months of operation the future is huge, and we're searching for a seasoned leader with the talent, determination and presence to drive our new business forward.

This is a senior leadership role at the heart of a B2B sales-driven business. You'll be stepping into a well-established, high-performing business with maximum enthusiasm to supercharge what we have already built from the ground up. We're looking for someone who understands the full recruitment landscape, knows how to get the best out of expanding our business through personal knowledge, I.T, Social Media and the A.I landscape plus has the commercial acumen to own a significant P&L.

You'll be well-supported by a small team of practically minded entrupreners with head office functions covering finance, payroll, accounts, debtor management, legal, health & safety, compliance, staff training, marketing, HR and IT.

The core duties of the role involve:

Senior Team Leadership: Leading and developing a brand new team, building your P&L and You'll set the culture, drive performance, and mentor your clients like they are your right arm. This is a people-first leadership role where your ability to inspire and retain top talent will be critical.

Sales & Business Development, Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow Quantum Staffing Solutions presence across the Otago Southland region. Build and maintain strategic relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Networking, Leverage your existing connections and build new relationships across Otago/Southland and the broader region to support business growth and operational success.
Branch Management, Own all aspects of the local business - financials, marketing, staff training and compliance — to the companywide standard, with full support from the Senior Management Team.
Recruitment Leadership: Oversee the delivery of full recruitment cycles across a large variety of local businesses, ensuring your team consistently sources and places top-quality candidates.

Labour Hire: Manage and grow a large temporary workforce across a variety of Otago businesses, maintaining strong relationships with both clients and workers on assignment.

To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate:

A proven track record in senior recruitment, staffing, or people services leadership
Strong experience leading and developing large teams of recruitment professionals
5+ years in a management role within a recruitment or related environment
Commercial acumen with experience owning or contributing to a P&L
Exceptional communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
A well-established network across the Otago / Southland / Canterbury region (advantageous)
The drive and ambition to take a high-performing office to the next level.
This initially will be a working from home role and or could even be a part time role working school hours or someone that has retired but is not ready to hang up their hat. (We are open)

This is a Monday to Friday role, 8am–5pm or as negotiated, with availability expected as client needs dictate. While based in Dunedin, There will be some travel involved.
