Transporter Driver

Transporter Operator / Heavy Towing Driver

Location: Whanganui

This position is primarily for operating our 10-Wheeler Transporter, with the ability to step into our Kenworth Transporter when required. The successful applicant will also be involved in piloting oversize loads and assisting with a range of transport operations.

• Current Class 4 and Class 5 Driver Licences
• Ability to confidently operate a Road Ranger gearbox
• Experience operating machinery and equipment without supervision
• Strong self-management skills and ability to work independently
• Professional presentation and excellent customer service skills
• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to represent the company positively
• Take pride in maintaining our trucks and equipment to a high standard
• Show care and respect when handling customers' machinery and equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Pilot Licence
• WTR (Wheels, Tracks & Rollers) Endorsement
• BESS Certification

• Minimum 40 hours per week
• Average of approximately 50–55 hours per week
