You will be responsible for:- Assisting in loading vehicles, consolidating orders, and ensuring a seamless, efficient experience for our busy trade customers
- Assisting customers by understanding their needs and recommending the right products and solutions.
- Maintaining a clean, well-stocked, and hazard-free work environment, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
- A can-do approach and a strong desire to learn
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, numerical skills, and great attention to detail
- Building industry knowledge or experience is beneficial but not required
- Forklift license is advantageous but not essential
- Physically fit and have solid health and safety values as some manual heavy lifting is involved
- Paid day off for your work anniversary
- The opportunity to gain NZQA qualifications in retail
- This is a permanent full-time role, guaranteed 40 hours per week
