SOUTHLAND BASED ROLE - SITE ENGINEERING MANAGER

As Engineering Manager, reporting to the Plant Manager, your core functions are as follows:

• Minimising downtime with planning & maintenance management
• Ensuring all maintenance adheres to food safety & quality standards
• Providing leadership in Health & Safety
• Driving continuous improvement within the maintenance function
• Management of maintenance budgets & related asset management
• Project management: H&S & Sustainability upgrade projects

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE/ BE:

• Min. 6 years in manufacturing maintenance - ideally food
• Min. 3 years team leadership / people management experience
• Mechanical / Electrical trade OR Engineering tertiary qualification
• IT proficient; CMMS preventative maintenance software
• Adept at driving Lean Manufacturing & CI methodologies
• Professional communication skills up & down the chain
• Sound reporting, planning, budgeting & job scheduling skills
