- Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the roleThe District Nursing Service provides comprehensive nursing care to the greater Dunedin area including Palmerston and Middlemarch.This includes:specialist wound care (including ACC)intravenous medications administrationpalliative carecatheter managementmuch more.The service is closely linked to Dunedin Hospital to help ensure patients are supported safely in the community after hospital discharge while also maintaining close liaison with local GP practices, hospice and residential facilities.
You will be out and about working in different places, and each hour is varied from the next.
You'll be responsible for planning and implementing care to a diverse range of patients in the community, while also supervising enrolled nurses and healthcare assistants.About the Team/Service/LocationHealth New Zealand
